Rescue 101 Search and Rescue provides professional on-site medical and safety support for community events, festivals, races, and public gatherings of all sizes.
Our teams consist of certified First Aid Providers, EMTs, Advanced EMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses trained to operate in dynamic environments — from large outdoor festivals to endurance events and rural gatherings.
We understand that emergencies can happen anywhere. That’s why our Event Medical Division brings the same professionalism, structure, and preparedness used in our search and rescue and disaster response operations to every event we cover.
Rescue 101 SAR operates under the FEMA Incident Command System (ICS), ensuring efficient coordination, communication, and accountability at every level. Our goal is simple:
To provide immediate, high-quality medical care and safety management — so your event runs smoothly, safely, and successfully.
*All proceeds from event medical coverage directly support Rescue 101 SAR’s mission, training programs, and life-saving operations across Ohio and surrounding regions.
Fully equipped First Aid Stations are staffed by certified medical personnel and set up as a central, highly visible medical post within your event area.
These stations are prepared to treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses, from minor cuts and sprains to heat exhaustion, allergic reactions, and dehydration, with protocols for escalating care and emergency transport when needed.
Our Medical Bike Teams provide rapid response in congested or pedestrian-heavy environments where vehicles cannot easily maneuver.
Equipped with trauma and AED packs, these teams patrol continuously and are capable of reaching patients quickly to initiate care while coordinating transport or advanced support.
For larger venues, trail systems, or off-road events, our UTV Medical Teams deliver advanced mobility and patient transport capability.
Each UTV is equipped with emergency medical gear, lighting, communication systems, and a patient transport unit capable of safely moving individuals from remote or crowded areas to a treatment tent or ambulance staging area.
For smaller or lower-risk events, Rescue 101 SAR offers the option of a solo EMS provider.
These professionals bring all essential first-aid and trauma supplies to provide coverage for compact venues, film productions, or community activities where a full team or first aid post isn’t necessary.
For larger or high-attendance events, we can deploy a Medical Treatment Tent, equipped with patient cots, diagnostic supplies, and medical equipment.
The tent serves as a centralized care area for assessment, stabilization, and treatment of multiple patients simultaneously and can function as a temporary field clinic during extended events or emergencies.
Rescue 101 SAR provides trained personnel for Traffic Control and Scene Safety to assist with event ingress/egress, crowd movement, and emergency vehicle access.
Working closely with local law enforcement and event staff, our teams ensure safe routing for both the public and emergency responders, reducing risk and maintaining clear access for medical and rescue operations.
Our Event Incident Management Team (IMT) provides command and coordination for large or multi-agency events.
Using FEMA’s ICS framework, the IMT manages operations, planning, logistics, and communications, ensuring every component of your event’s emergency plan is organized, documented, and ready to respond if needed.
Whether it’s a 5K, a county fair, or a multi-day festival, Rescue 101 SAR delivers scalable, professional, and dependable medical and safety coverage you can count on.
