Rescue 101 SAR - O.W.L.S. HSI Courses

Adult, Child, & Infant - CPR, AED, & Basic First Aid

Course Description:
HSI’s Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid course is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare participants to respond confidently to a variety of medical emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This blended course combines life-saving CPR and AED skills with essential first aid knowledge, ensuring that participants are ready to act quickly and effectively in critical situations.

Through engaging instruction, video demonstrations, and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to:

  • Recognize and respond to cardiac arrest, respiratory emergencies, and choking in adults, children, and infants. 
  • Perform high-quality CPR and safely use an automated external defibrillator (AED). 
  • Provide first aid for sudden illnesses such as heart attack, stroke, shock, diabetic emergencies, and seizures. 
  • Treat injuries, including bleeding control, burns, fractures, sprains, and head, neck, or back injuries. 
  • Manage environmental emergencies such as heat and cold-related illnesses, bites, and stings. 
  • Ensure personal and scene safety while providing care until emergency medical services arrive. 

Course Format:
